Comfrey Salve

A firm salve built around a single herb. The comfrey is steeped in olive, hemp seed and castor oils over several weeks, then blended with beeswax and shea butter into a balm that softens on contact.

The scent is cool and green up front from the peppermint, with ginger warmth and a resinous frankincense base underneath.

Handmade in small batches on the Mid North Coast of New South Wales.

To use

Warm a small amount between your fingers and massage into the skin until it disappears.

About the oils

Frankincense — used in skin preparations for centuries, bringing a warm, resinous note.

Ginger — distilled from the root, sharp and warming.

Peppermint — bright and cooling, one of the most recognisable scents in body care.

Please note

Patch test on a small area before first use.

For external use on unbroken skin only. Do not use on cuts, grazes or damaged skin.

Not recommended during pregnancy or while breastfeeding.

Contains peppermint essential oil. Not for use on babies or young children.

Avoid contact with eyes. Keep out of reach of children.
