Splinter salve
A firm salve on a heavily infused oil base, with a pinch of green clay worked through. Thicker than the other balms, and it sits on the skin rather than sinking straight in.
The oils are slowly infused with comfrey, chickweed, marshmallow, plantain and rosemary, then blended with beeswax.
Scented lightly with lavender and tea tree.
Handmade in small batches on the Mid North Coast of New South Wales.
To use
Apply a small amount to the skin and cover with a plaster or a small dressing. Wash off with warm water.
About the oils
Lavender — the best known oil in body care, valued for its gentle, calming aroma.
Tea tree — an Australian native distilled from Melaleuca alternifolia, sharp, green and unmistakable.
